Beautiful the Chewed Sounds
A meditation on the meeting of analogue and artificial worlds. The work mixes references to nature, bodies, and machines until they begin to blur together, making it difficult to tell where one thing ends and another begins. The source material is a hybrid archive of found analogue and digital fragments that resists easy categorisation, including 3D scans, old books and photographs, stock images, AI slop, Victorian poetry and cut up text.
This book, which forms part of a larger body of work in progress, was originally produced for the Wrong Biennale pavillion The Doughnut W(h)ole.
